OBJECTIVES:

RESOURCES and MATERIALS: ACTIVITIES/PROCEDURES:

  1. Read about dinosaurs and discuss their size.
  2. Show students what a dinosaur foot might look like.
  3. Students will trace their own feet onto graphing paper.
  4. Estimate how many dinosaur feet it would take to equal the length of a table. How many of their own feet?
  5. Compare their estimates with the actual measurements.
  6. Students will write in and illustrate their math journals.
