For each visitor to The K-12 Teaching and Learning Center, user domain names and e-mail addresses (where possible) are recognized. However, any collected information is used for aggregated internal review only (e.g. page access totals), and is then discarded. No individual user information is kept nor shared with other organizations, and aggregated statistical information (e.g. page views per month) is the only data maintained for the purposes of documenting general usage data and trends.
No proprietary information of any sort is collected about any visitors to any of these sites, and no proprietary information of any sort is archived or maintained.
We do not set any cookies.
The K-12 Teaching & Learning Center does contain links to some web sites that have products and services to sell. The K-12 TLC's endorsement of these products and services is not intended and should not be implied. Links to these sites are included only because of the educational value of the content at each site. The K-12 TLC has no financial interest in any of these products or services, and does not benefit in any way, financially or otherwise, from the sale of these products and services.
Collection and use of consumer information by ad servers at pages outside of the K-12 Teaching & Learning Center is beyond the control of the K-12 TLC ownership, and consumers are advised to consult the privacy statements of the individual merchandisers before making purchases. K-12 TLC ownership will not knowingly affiliate with any merchandiser or ad server who, in our opinion, is making unfair or disreputable use of information gathered about K-12 TLC users. If you feel your privacy is in anyway violated by an affiliate merchandiser or ad server, please let the TLC know. However, it will be the responsbility of the user to make contact with the party in question.
No changes to our information practices are planned or foreseen. However, if, our privacy practices do change at some time in the future, changes will be posted on the effected web pages to notify users of the policy change before data is collected for new purposes.
